AI is the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally
require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making,
and translation between languages.
Colloquially, the term AI is likely to be applied when a machine uses techniques to
competently perform or mimic cognitive functions that we intuitively associate with human
minds, such as learning and problem solving.
Intuition is one form of knowing without awareness.
